// What is combat surf

Surf. Fight. Dominate.

Combat surf is a game mode built on CS2/CS:GO's physics engine — you glide across angled ramps while engaging in gunfights with full movement freedom. Zero spread. Zero fall damage. Maximum skill expression.

Surf Physics

Glide across angled ramps by holding A or D into the surface. Never press W on a ramp — it kills your speed instantly. Momentum is everything.

Autobhop

Combat surf servers enable autobhop by default. Hold Spacebar and you'll automatically chain bunny hops between ramps to build and maintain speed.

Zero Spread

All weapons fire with perfect accuracy. Every bullet goes exactly where your crosshair points — no RNG, no spray pattern. Pure aim wins the fight.

No Fall Damage

Land from any height without taking damage. Servers run NoFallDamage so you can focus entirely on combat, not on managing health from drops.

Global Servers

Community-run servers across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia. Find a low-latency server near you in the browser above.

Infinite Skill Ceiling

The combination of movement precision and aim mastery creates one of the deepest competitive skill gaps in CS. Mastery takes months. The grind never ends.

// Getting started

Up and running in minutes

No setup required. Find a server, jump in, and start learning. Here's what you need to know before your first game.

01
Server

Find and Connect

Browse the server list, pick one with active players, and click Connect. CS2 or CS:GO opens automatically. No console commands required.

02
Movement

Hold A or D Into Ramps

When you touch an angled ramp, hold A or D to surf along its surface. Your mouse steers your trajectory. Never press W on a ramp — it instantly kills your momentum.

03
Bhop

Hold Space — It's Autobhop

Combat surf servers have autobhop enabled. Just hold Spacebar and you'll automatically chain hops between ramps, maintaining and building speed.

04
Combat

Aim Wins — No RNG

Zero spread means every bullet follows your crosshair precisely. AWPs and rifles dominate. Practice your aerial aim — that's the skill that separates beginners from veterans.

// Turnbinds & config

Optimize Your Setup

Competitive surf players bind turn commands to keys for maximum ramp control. Here's a ready-to-use config.

autoexec.cfg
// Combat Surf Turnbinds — add to autoexec.cfg
bind "LEFT"  "+left"
bind "RIGHT" "+right"

// Alternative — mouse buttons
bind "MOUSE4" "+left"
bind "MOUSE5" "+right"

// FAQ

Common Questions

What's the difference between combat surf and regular surf?
Regular surf is a time-trial mode where you complete a course without fighting. Combat surf combines surfing movement with live gunfights — players are actively trying to kill each other while surfing. Same ramp physics, completely different game.
Does combat surf work in CS2?
Yes. CS2 fully supports combat surf on community servers. The physics are slightly different from CS:GO's Source engine, but the core mechanics are intact. Several active CS2 combat surf servers are listed in our browser above.
Why does pressing W kill my speed?
In Source engine physics, pressing W (forward) when on a ramp counteracts the natural acceleration you get from the ramp's angle. You gain speed by using A/D strafes and mouse movement to stay on the ramp surface — never W.
Can I run my own combat surf server?
Yes. You need a CS2 dedicated server, the Metamod:Source and CounterStrikeSharp plugins, a combat surf map (surf_ski_3 is a good start), and configuration for autobhop and zero spread. Submit your server to this directory once it's live.
Which weapons are best on combat surf servers?
With zero spread, AWP and rifles (AK-47, M4A1-S) are king — every bullet goes exactly where you aim. The AWP is particularly powerful for aerial shots. Pistols are viable at close range. The gun is rarely the variable; your aerial aim is.
How do I submit a server to the directory?
Click "Add Server" in the header or server browser section. Enter your server's name, IP, port, and country. Server listings are community-maintained and moderated to keep the directory clean and accurate.
